COMMUNITY AND EDUCATION.
Education is a fundamental element to achieve good community participation in projects and influence the formation of environmental awareness that leads to positive changes in the way people interact with nature. We are developing an environmental education program, transversal to all Sierra Verde projects, to influence the appreciation that people in local communities have towards nature, in their thinking, their desires, their habits.

Local capacity building
Aimed at different age groups. groups of young scouts for hiking, camping, wildlife observation, art, cleaning brigades, community monitors.

Environmental volunteering
within a wide range of options that fit various profiles and interests, from field work to desktop activities related to the digital world. The idea is that environmental issues can and should be addressed from different fronts, and one can find a way to contribute, while becoming part of the solution to environmental problems.
